Richard Stokes

Ricky Stokes is a Managing Director of H.I.G. Capital. Ricky is responsible for all aspects of the investment process including sourcing, transaction structuring, financing, and execution of post-closing growth and operational strategies. He has more than ten years of experience in middle market private equity and has led investments across a wide range of industries including consumer products, building products, business services, manufacturing, and distribution. Ricky currently serves on the boards of several H.I.G. portfolio companies.

Prior to joining H.I.G. in 2000, Ricky was a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Salomon Smith Barney. In this role, he worked on a variety of buyside and sellside advisory assignments for companies across a wide range of industries. Ricky received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University.
