Peter Cornetta

Peter has more than 10 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions and private equity. He joined H.I.G. in 2003 and is a Managing Director based in H.I.G.'s Boston office. He is involved in all aspects of the investment process from investment origination, transaction negotiation, and execution of post-closing development. Peter has led investments in the media, healthcare services, manufacturing, and consumer sectors.

Prior to joining H.I.G. Capital, he was a Principal with Advent International, a leading Boston-based private equity firm focusing on buyouts, recapitalizations, and growth capital infusions. While at Advent, Peter led a number of investments across media, business services and healthcare services and played a significant role in the sourcing, execution and monitoring of transactions post-closing. Before Advent, Peter was with Richards LLC, a private equity firm in Atlanta, GA investing in lower middle market companies. He also worked with the investment banking arm of NationsBanc Capital Markets, Inc. focusing on mergers and acquisitions activity.
