Axel Bonnassies

Axel Bonnassies, Director, has been with H.I.G. in Paris since 2007. He covers growth equity, leveraged buy-out and distressed investments in France, Benelux, Switzerland, and Southern Europe. Prior to joining H.I.G., Axel was Managing Director at Opale SMR, an operational consulting firm which he founded, developed and sold. At Opale, Axel worked with numerous clients from various industries, to directly improve their bottom line. Previously, Axel was a consultant at Bain & Company where he focused on pre-acquisition strategic due diligence and post-acquisition performance improvement for a number of private equity clients in Europe.
Axel holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a Masters in Industrial Engineering from Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble.
