Andrew Busby

Andrew Busby is a Principal in the London office and has been with H.I.G. since 2007. Andrew is involved in all aspects of the investment process from investment origination, transaction negotiation, structuring and execution. Andrew sits on the Board of Directors of several H.I.G. portfolio companies.

Andrew has more than twelve years experience in restructuring and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining H.I.G., Andrew was a Director at Talbot Hughes McKillop, a specialist European restructuring firm headquartered in London. Prior to that, Andrew worked within the Corporate Restructuring teams at both Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen, where he advised the stakeholders of distressed companies.

Andrew received a B.A. (Hons) in Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham. He is a chartered accountant and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
